Seventy acres of Hertfordshire countryside, a traditional Jain Derasar in landscaped gardens, and two 500-capacity halls. It is also licensed for civil marriages, which makes it one of the few places you can run the civil and the Hindu ceremony on a single day.

Civil plus religious on one site
Because the centre is a registered venue for civil marriages, many couples hold the civil ceremony and the Indian ceremony here on the same day. That is two ceremonies, often two outfits, and a portrait window that has to be defended in the timeline.
The Derasar and the gardens
The Jain temple and the landscaped gardens are the distinctive backdrops. The gardens hold good light into the evening and are far enough from the halls to give genuinely private couple portraits.
Seventy acres means travel time
The grounds are large and parking runs to 500 cars. Moving a wedding party between the Derasar, the halls and the gardens takes longer than people expect. We build that into the schedule rather than discovering it on the day.
Two halls at 500 each
Large halls with high ceilings swallow light. We plan lighting for the reception properly instead of relying on on-camera flash, which is what flattens so much banqueting-hall photography.

The Jain temple sits within the grounds and is a beautiful backdrop. Access for photographs is subject to the centre's guidance, which we confirm beforehand.
